The Stop Community Food Centre – Drop-In fundraising campaign.
Role: Creative/Cinematography/Post Production
Challenge/Task: To maximize the impact of each marketing dollar through video production. Connecting with a wider donor base to grow donations inline with the increasing need of the poor and vulnerable.
Solution/Execution: Spending some time in the Drop-In program I witnessed all of the great community based work and wanted to visually share that with potential donors. Our goal to establish the basic premise that access to life sustaining food is a basic human right. Hearing from those on the ground and in the programs highlight the importance of the work being done at The Stop. This piece and subsequent social media bites led to the most successful fundraising campaign in The Stop's history but also set a new bar for engagement with a wider audience.
Role: Cinematographer
Challenge/Task: Tight budgets meant fitting a variety of locations and setups into a single day.
Solution/Execution: Working with the great creatives at Flash Frame Digital we worked as a small efficient crew in order to move quickly and get the variety of shots needed to tell the story.
In 2013 MuchMusic undertook the biggest VJ search ever. Frame Farm Media was tasked with creating the series opening. The challenge presented was to take each VJ mentor and convey their personality and interests in a carefully crafted series of hero shots. The 2013 VJ Search has been the biggest competition reality hit for MuchMusic and we are glad to have been a part of it working with great brands like MuchMusic and Garnier.
Christine and Stephanie met seven years ago when both of their children were admitted to Sick Kids Hospital. It was extremely difficult time. But the friendship and support they found in each other, was unlike anything the two had experienced before. While they always kept in touch, it was a dream to have Christine and her son Colin come to Thunder Bay to visit with Stephanie and her family. We were inspired to help make it happen.
Proctor & Gamble joined forces with MuchMusic’s youth brand for the Turn it Up campaign. The campaign connected the P&G brand with Western University as frosh students turned up their love and understanding for each other at the ground breaking ‘One Love’ rally.
MTV Canada came with a cast of 3 girls they wanted on TV but didn’t know where to start. From the ground up we developed an entertaining attractively shot reality style show that takes you behind the curtain into the world of stripping and all the craziness you can imagine.
The Much Music and Coca-Cola Covers Competition will uncover the next Canadian music sensation. This award-winning partnership gives young music hopefuls from across Canada a shot at winning a trip to the 2013 MMVAs and the Covers MMVA award. The winner also gets a singles deal with Sony Music Entertainment Canada Inc., which includes a song release and music video.
Halloween is a very fun time of year so when we were asked to create the opening sequence to the Electric Circus Halloween Special we jumped at the chance to have a little fun with the MuchMusic VJ’s In a spooky campy way.

The MuchMusic Video Awards is Canada’s largest music event. Celebrities and musicians from all over the globe walk the red carpet and perform the many stages.. Our task was to take the audience behind the scenes from the early meetings to the daunting forcasts of rain. We tell then stories of cast and crew as they run rehearsals, avoid setbacks and run the best show possible. We capture the excitement and tension and bring the audience along on the biggest night in Canadian music.
